The box-set is for a wonderful cause helping out military as a side bonus you get to read some wonderful outstanding stories by some wonderful outstanding authors. Each story is base on the military, their family, love ones, friends etc. I have not had a book touch me right to the heart as much as this one has in a long time. These authors have really reached out into the everyday life our military. How serving their country has effect their family life, through pain, loneliness, and sorrow, some having to start over learning to live again.

This is a wonderful way to help a great cause and get a taste of some great author’s style in writing. I doubt you could read these stories and not be touched in some way. I found all these stories to be very believable and some could be very true. I am so honored to have been asked to review this outstanding read. Our military has always been very close to my heart, it brought back some wonderful memories I have of supporting out military with care packages, snail mail, the laughs and sorrows we have shared.

Each of these authors bring so much to this box-set with many different styles of writing, the words flow smoothly, some will bring tears to your eyes where other will make you smile. These stories are about families who aren’t blood but have a stronger bond because they serve together. These are very fast pace reads with a few thrills even a few Oh My, that will get the heart pumping. It was a page turner for sure I read it all at one setting. I could not put this book down!!!

Even though I was given this to review I will be buying my copy to help a wonderful great cause. I hats off to each author for giving us a box-set full of compelling stories that will stay with you long after you have finished the read. I look forward to reading more of each of yours works. I totally love each story and highly recommend you pick this set up and give it a read.

Hot As Hell by Julie Ann Walker
One hot little read with a very fast pace plot of lovin and leavin. One night of hot passion was more than Harper could take, Mad Dog had other ideas for him one night wasn’t enough. When things get out of control she called he came on the run. The chemistry these two have is powerful you can feel it right through the pages, I swear they almost burn them up.

In Plain Site by Catherine Mann
This is one story that will reach deep in your soul while it almost brings you to tears. The author sends out a strong message and hits on some very touchy subjects which I have to say she does wonderfully. It is a story of starting over and learning to overcome your fears, face your past, take hold of your life and be the person you are meant to be. Stacy and Gavin story broke my heart so much pain, a lot of if only. The past is the past and can’t be changed only the future can. Too much time has passed is it too late for them to make it right? Both have fears, both lives have changed they will have to plot and plan to keep her safe but with Gavin disabilities get in the way can he keep his love from the past safe from the man that is hunting her?

Torn by Kate SeRine
Just when I think one story can’t touch my heart more than the last one Ms. SeRine shows me it can. Torn will tear your heart into on the first page you want to reach out so hard to this solider take him in your arms and just hold him tight. Joe has a tough road ahead of him, he has fought more than a war he is fighting for his life. He made a promise to his best friend Sadie that he would come home alive. He never breaks a promise but this might be one he can’t keep. I would suggest you grab a tissue before you start reading this outstanding read.

War Games by Lea Griffith
Wow what a start this story is Ms. Griffith I just don’t know what to say until I did a little research and found out All the King's Men (Endgame Ops) is coming out in Jan 2016. It starts out with Vivi going into prison to talk with a man chained to the floor. This is no normal man but a soldier who killed his whole unit. There is no doubt this is one story that will blow your mind wondering what our future might hold. I can’t wait to read this series it is sure to hold your interest with all this author plans to bring to the table. You won’t believe what Rook can do with his disability he is one tough, hot soldier who knows more than he should and pays the price. The author gives you mystery, thrills in this action packed read. Vivi has lost so much but she put her faith in one man her brother who held some secrets. He tells her what he wants now she has to put all her faith in a killer. Was he setup or is he in on this game, who can she trust and where will she turn? Find out when the government start their war games…. Is it January yet? I am on the edge hanging on…

Beauty and the Marine by Tina Wainscott
What a wonderful touching story, I have loved the Justiss Alliance series from the first book. The wonderful characters are hero’s they help bring down bad guys. If you haven’t read this series you really should. In Beauty and the Marine Tina gives us wonderful scared characters that will need to look deep to find the beauty in themselves. She reminds us that beauty is only skin deep that what is on the end side is really all that matters. The Justiss Alliance in on the hunt for a stalker who is stalking a model and wants to harm her. Griff is there to teach her the things she needs to do to get the hunt started, the chemistry between these two characters is powerful but both must learn that scares only go skin deep sometimes you must reach out and take a hold of life to live again. Will the stalker win or will Griff be the man that Kristy knows he can be and come out of hiding to save the day?

NSDQ by M.L. Buchman
One brave women flies in to combat to pick up hurt soldiers, bullets flying, she takes off going around a turn. She has one chance to this right and save her team but at what cost to herself? My heart sure went out to Lois I felt her pain and her lose. She has so much to give but she must find her way maybe with her superman she can rebuild her life taking it one day at a time.

This is just a good old fashion love story kind of two stories in one. Jonah and Alisha had a one night stand years ago. Through misunderstanding the two part, they come back together to help a friend a soldier who lost a lot why serving. Can Jonah and Alisha find away to mend their broken hearts and plan a future together. Kevin and Julie story is also a very touching read so must to get over, learn and grow from a trying time. I just loved this story inside a story it is very emotional and really reaches your heart.

I would have to say this is my favorite read of this set and I can’t tell you why or it would give the story away. There is no way you can read this story and not smile and even chuckle at the mess these two military wife’s get into. This story is about family and how they help their own in a time of need.

Hot as Hell by Julie Ann Walker - This is the prequel to Ms Walker’s new series Deep Six. A group of Navy Seals who after their latest mission will retire and most will be going to Florida to run a marine salvage business. This novella gives a glimps of three of those Navy Seals while still in action sent in to rescue a woman and the US Ambassador to Pakistan. Harper Searcy and Michael “Mad Dog” Wainwright has a one night fling except Michael didn’t want it to be just a one night thing but Harper hasn’t been returning any of his calls since – until she calls him from the Embassy’s safe room after the Taliban blast their way in. It’s a short story but still has all the things you expect from this author – action, alpha men and the tough women who fall for them.

In Plain Sight by Catherine Mann - Stacie Currie lived through 4 years of abuse from her husband before divorcing him but neither that nor the restraining order has stopped him from terrorizing her. While on the line with 911 she realizes she is talking to the man she should have married all those years ago instead of pushing him away with her selfish demands. This story was about Joe who was injured by an IED during his tour with the National Guard. After 18 months of rehab he is finally getting back on his feet enough to start back to work with the Sheriff’s department where his father is the Sheriff and two of his brother’s are deputies. Joe and Sadie have been friends since they were little. They both knew they loved the other but never had the guts to ever cross the friend line. Joe’s brush with death is the catalyst that finally pushes them to confess their feelings for each other but turns out Sadie has a stalker and he’s decided he doesn’t like that Joe’s back in Sadie’s life. This was a new author to me and I enjoyed this one enough that I am looking forward to the 3 other brothers stories.

War Games by Lea Griffth - Didn’t want this one to end. Lea Griffith writes such intense stories and this short introduction to a new series about a black ops team barely whetted my appetite. Opening scene having CIA operative Vivi Bentwood breaking wrongly convicted prisoner Rook Granger out of Fort Leavenworth started the ball rolling on what’s sure to be another sure fire hit series for the author.

Beauty and the Marine by Tina Wainscott - Griff Tate see himself as a beast after being burned over 25% of his body while in combat. After a long recovery period he is content living on the 200 acre resort his family owns and away from the public. When his friend that runs a private security agency ask him if they could use the Resort to set up sting to catch a stalker he agrees not know that the victim would be so beautiful and make him long for things he doesn’t think he could ever had again. Kristy Marsden may have a beautiful face that makes her money as a model but she has scars of her own from the stalker. When she meets Griff she doesn’t see scars on his face she sees the wounded warrior on in the inside and that stirs up feelings she long thought the stalker had killed.

NSDQ by M.L. Buchman - All of these story so far in this anthology have been great but this one caused a little leakage to the eyes.. US Army Caption Lois Lang flew Black Hawks on CSR missions. She worked hard to get to be the pilot of her own crew. While on a CSR mission in Afghanistan they get hit with a RPG and she manages to save everyone at the cost of her leg. She had to have a below the knee amputation. Now stationed at Fort Lewis she struggles with knowing her career is over and flying is only thing she’s ever wanted to do. Fort Lewis is where training is done for the Little Bird, Black Hawk and Chinook. Kendall Clark (get it Lois and Clark  ) is a civilian Black Hawk engineer and training instructor. Turns out he’s had a thing for Lois for a while but never acted on it until now. This sweet man manages to give Lois back her life in more ways than one..

He decides he is going to check up on how his buddy’s house was coming along that is being built by the Wounded Warrior Housing Project. Now 5 years later and she cant stand the sight of him. When Jenn Gillman and Eden Zanella break down on the side of the road and 8 month pregnant Jenn’s water breaks we soon find out how many Seals it takes to get to them. Lots of familiar faces lend a hand in getting to Jenn and Eden. Been a while since I’ve read a Troubleshooter book but I certainly remembered all the guys and their spouses I missed the humor that Suzanne always has in her books.
